The society records include some carbon copies and photocopies of manuscripts of poems that Langston Hughes gave to Margaret Burroughs from the 1930s-1960s, Margaret Burroughs’s correspondence with and concerning Hughes, sheet music, some of Hughes’s awards and honors, and ephemera relating to tributes to Hughes.
