Abstract
Biographical/Historical Note:
The interdenominational Church Federation of Greater Chicago, founded in 1907, to unite Protestant demoninations and later, other faiths in the Chicago area. The CFGC was strongly reformist in outlook and would become especially activist in the 1950s and 1960s.

Scope and Content Note:
Photographs from the CFGC documenting television and radio programs originated by the Federation, meetings, staff members, religious services, community projects, and civil rights marches. Most of the material is unidentified.
